At the start of “mass murder” and the coverups, it is made clear the Australian media have systematically made themselves the enemy of the people, on the issue of extreme bushfires:

“We conclude…the propaganda media secretly believed successive governments, and by extension themselves, were the perpetrators of the death toll. Indeed, that governments were the ‘terrorists within our nation’, as the SA Premier Mike Rann publicly described the accused”(“mass murder” and the coverups, 2024, Preface, Australian media coverup, page 15).

To show the media’s ’war on truth’, we carefully analyse the nature of propaganda in a newspaper article we used to prompt one of our letters: 

“We believe The Australian is a propaganda media newspaper, crippled by the ‘government narrative’ and partly responsible for the nation’s extreme bushfires” (“mass murder” and the coverups, 2024, Chapter 26 Propaganda Media’s Extreme Bushfires, page 155).

For nine years, from 2009 to 2018, it seems our extreme bushfire campaign was effectively censored by all of Australia’s National and Metropolitan media, except for one State outlet in 2013, for one single day. The following day it appears to have been ‘shut down’, and it would be another five years before the government propaganda media narrative was busted, by just one newspaper:

“The first of The Weekly Times four ‘blockbuster’ articles was in December 2018 (Fire risk back to black), followed by the second in January 2019 (Fire wire failure), then the third in October 2019 (Fuel loads hit extreme) and now the fourth in August 2020 (Smokescreen)…the four prominent, well researched and unchallenged articles, destroyed the government’s plausible deniability about apparent criminal negligence for future mass deaths from extreme bushfires.” (“mass murder” and the coverups, 2024, Chapter 27, Smokescreen: the government’s plausible deniability destroyed, page 162).
